Hello? Hello. Hello. It's Jianna miss Sally today. I want to go over a fantastic consult I had yesterday. It's uh , sometimes they come along that they're really amazing learning experiences. When a lady has all the right ingredients going on in her life, which is the exact reason why I call my book, why American women are so fat, sick, tired, and angry. So this gap, as I wrote is 49 years old. She's been doing CrossFit for five years straight. Hello? And she's still 60 pounds overweight despite going to the doctor. Why, why, why Giana ? Why she has been diagnosed with Hashimoto's and she is three years post-menopausal and she said that her symptoms began , uh, same as mine, 42, 43. You could even go back to 41 for me. 41 is when the weight started to pack on. So in addition to these diagnosis that I just said too , she is exhausted. She's forgetful. She has brain fog. She wakes up twice during the night, her energy falls in the afternoon. Um, she craves sugar, desserts and bread, and she has gas and indigestion. I know these aren't the most lovely topics, but I like to talk about reality. I want all the gals walking around the world to be sexy and fabulous, which is why , um , my group is called the sexy and fabulous forever. So the doctor says that she has no estrogen, which is impossible. It's really impossible. And so when she said that to me, I say to her, what do you mean? The doctor says it? So she gets out her labs and she says, well, the doctor says I have no Astra dial, which is the magic word. It's the magic word. It's like, it's, it's, it's part of the estrogen family, but it's a smaller component. And for this, I say to all the women out there ask yourselves, why do you think you have lower estrogen? When you're 49 years old, your body knows you're running out of eggs. Of course your estrogen. Isn't going to be the same as when you were in your twenties, in your thirties, your body knows you're running out of eggs. What does the estrogen do? It gets you ready for the conception. When the conception doesn't happen, the progesterone sweeps it away. So for this doctor to tell her that we were low on Estradal, it all depends on who's interpreting the readings.

Are you really low? You're low.

If you're 25 and it might say the same thing, but are you low for a 49 year old? Probably not. She's not really having issues, except it's really hard for her to lose weight, but she does have the Hashimoto's, which we're going to go into very soon. So what does the doctor do for her? I mean, the reason that I'm saying she's not low on estrogen, because guess what your fat cells produce estrogen. So all the gals that are running around with the fat acceptance. Great. If you want to be fat, I don't care. If you want to be fat, that's fine with me. I'll still love you. But when you get into your menopause years, you're going to be knocking on, you're going to be knocking on a lot of problems with your thyroid, because when you are estrogen dominant, which this gala is, that's why she's struggling to lose weight, which is so funny that a doctor says you have no estrogen. So I said to her, did the doctor try to put you on HRT? And she was kind of humming. And hon , finally she did say yes, this lady doesn't want to be on HRT, especially synthetic HRT. So she has accepted to be on progesterone. BHRT that's the bio identical, which I want to remind you of the term identical, identical. It means it does the identical things. It means your body reads it as identical, but is it really a hormone? No, it's a fake hormone. And I prescribed to the theory that when my lady parts are shutting down, down there, they're saying, Hey, no more. We don't need this. And you are now forcibly inserting your fake hormones on there, which sometimes come from the horse , uh , urine . Uh, I think you're inviting , um, uh , cancer cells because you're confusing the cells

Natural. So please use your logic. When you're running out of eggs, your body knows what it's doing. Mother nature is not wrong, but this gal is still struggling with the weight. So let's keep moving on. So the doctor said in response to her saying, I don't want to be on HRT. She's put her on some supplements, which don't even really matter for this discussion, but they're not doing anything. They're not doing anything. And the doctor has never, ever addressed her menu, not once not ever. And that's where I come in, what I like to do. But the doctor prescribed for her, for her trouble sleeping. And I find this astounding

I'm dying to be wrong. I am dying to be wrong in my principles about this HRT. And in 10 years, I'm not wrong so far. So the doctor put her on an oral progesterone to help with her sleep. Okay. What does progesterone do? It sweeps away your , uh, your uterus's preparation for conception and it metabolizes carbohydrates and fat on what planet does that equal sleep? There's no planet. So let's talk about why are you not sleeping? What does it take to go to sleep? It takes melatonin. What does it take to produce melatonin? It takes tryptophan. Tryptophan is an amino acid. How are you going to get that trip to Fen ? You're going to eat foods that contain the right balance of amino acids. Boom there's functional medicine. One Oh one. Let's go to the root cause of the problem. There is no reason that the progesterone should help her go to sleep and a doctor. Cause often people say

Yummy . You're not a doctor. Okay? Yeah. So what

Guess what? I sleep? I produce melatonin. Another reason that your sleep can be disrupted in this post hormone over 40 or over 50 menopause age is that when you're on the screens, the computer, the TV, the phone you're keeping the lights on your melatonin starts to produce. As the sun goes down, it's called your circadian rhythm . So that's six, seven, eight o'clock depending on the time zone and where you live as you're go into the darkness, it starts to like starts to stir up. It's getting you ready to be sleepy in a couple of hours. So for me, I am almost never turning on the lights at night because they don't want to disrupt my melatonin and something you can do that would actually help your melatonin is to light candles. The golden glow from the candles will help start your melatonin. So additionally, I'm eating, tryptofan , I'm eating amino acids that will , uh , create trip to fan that will create melatonin. Another sleep disruption, very common in ladies over 40, the menopause ladies, as I like to call them is they call it nocturnal ,

Hypoglycemia. And that means, you know, we're always dieting. We're dieting, we're dieting, we're dieting. And what I promise in my program is that you will eat more to weigh less. We are dieting. So by the time you're asleep at two, three, four in the morning, you have probably not eat enough calories to get you through the night. And so what happens from that? I always talk about hormones. It's a cascading effect. It's like a symphony orchestra. When one is out of tune, they're all out of tune. So when you're waking up, because you did not eat enough calories that day, and you're getting the nocturnal hypoglycemia, your body is stressed. You don't have enough food , uh , fuel for all the processes, including your brain that never shuts off. There's not enough fuel to work everything. And so it's a stress and you may not feel the stress, but the cells are stressed. And so then they're going to be released in cortisol. You're releasing cortisol. And if you're releasing cortisol at the inappropriate times, which two, three, four in the morning is most definitely when you don't want to have cortisol, of course, you're going to be overweight and that's what's going on with the scout too. So I want to get back to some things , um, let's see your circadian rhythms. Um, if women only women, men , everyone, but , um, many nurses overnight shift workers because they are going against their circadian rhythms, that they are often very, very overweight and out of sync. You know, there's a lot of nurses that aren't that healthy. So another thing that I do , um , I don't have them with me to show you, but , um, you know, as we're on these screens, like we're so tempted to be on our screens. We're constantly on Facebook, especially I live alone, I'm on Facebook a lot. I got those. Um, they call them junk light glasses. And so, I mean, I am a nerd completely, but I don't even turn on the TV till maybe 10 o'clock at night until I go in my room and I'm going to watch something on the computer until I fall asleep. And I put on my junk light classes and these things are so amazing. I don't know. They're like so magical. They're a dark red, so I'm still watching the computer, but I swear to God within 30 minutes, I can feel my melatonin stirring up. So I've already began it early in the night, but then I, you know, I'm just, I'm just not a person that's going to go to the bed and go sit in silence. I w I want a TV show or something to help put me to sleep. And they're amazing. And they're $80. I do saw them on my website and they put you to sleep like this. They're amazing. And then another thing, this gal that is doing that, what I would say is wrong. Thank you for the love is , uh , she's had three cups of coffee per day for all of her adult life, which we're looking at 1823, 40 at 30 years. And so what I had explained to her is that all those daily cups of coffee, let's be honest. Coffee is the most legal drug in the entire world. It is a drug and every day that you're having it, the more that you have, the body gets used to it, but it's really like the boy who cried Wolf. So every day that she's having it, it's a slow drip on her central nervous system, which operates all your hormones. So it's a drip, drip, drip, and while she might not feel that she's stressed, the body is stressed because dripping that speed on your central nervous system is telling your body that you're in the fight or flight mode. Again, that's the cortisol drug. So now your body is getting used to living in perpetual anxiety and cortisol and interrupting your sleep. And it also causes depression and , um , panic attacks. And so one of the reasons I do what I do is that one in four women in the United States are on antidepressants, which okay. You know, if you want to be on those, but they're also making you fat and tired and disrupting a lot of things and your sex drive. And so then I've got husbands telling me what's wrong with my wife. Now you're going through menopause and you're on the antidepressant. And I use super, super don't want any sex. And your husband is upset about that. And so I like to say that this menopause and this weight gain is the biggest threat, not only to your health, but your income, this particular lady thinks that she got fired from her last job, because she was so unpleasant. Shall we say, which she probably could. So as we went through my health consult and I take, I've got an assessment where I go through a lot of symptoms and in each group of symptoms , uh, you know, depending on what you check off, it's going to indicate that you're lacking in certain vitamins. So , um, in my series coming up, I have a workshop coming up on June 29th and it's called menopause and minerals. And it's really going to blow you away because I am going to just expose the medical community for the fraud that they are. When you go to the doctor and you say, Oh, I'm fat, I'm sick, I'm tired. I'm putting a weight. I'm run down all the time. They're just going to give you prescriptions for hormone replacement therapy, Synthroid Welbutrin maybe some phentermine it's scription prescription, prescription, prescription. They're never, ever going to look at, Hey, maybe you're missing this fantastic, amazing , amazing ingredient. That top five symptoms mimic the top five complaints of being in menopause. So maybe you will only need that mineral. Yeah . Which does include Hashimoto's, which you may not even have. You just might need minerals. So this gal we're going to start working together. She is on , um, a thyroid med. And , uh, I'm trying to talk to her more about the , um, uh, using what I call my thyroid. Kitchen's gonna use two of the three. And , um, I really look forward to converting this gal out of meds and I'm very certain that's going to happen. Um, so I just wanted to make this a quick video and show you a case study of what aren't going to do versus what doctors do. They're never going to sit down and look at the totality of your house. So a lot of gals write to me and say , um , like what happened today? What can you tell me about sugar, cravings and hormones? Everything's about your hormones. The reason you're hungry, the reason you're full, the reason you're sleepy, the reason you're awake, everything, there's like 50 major hormones. It's not just your estrogen and your progesterone. It's your leptin and your ghrelin, your insulin and things like that. So it always has to look at the totality. So for everybody who emails me, I can't just answer you and say, Hey, take this supplement because that's what they're expecting. I am going to take an analysis of the totality of your health. And we're going to look for the root causes of your problems. You may not be suffering what the scale is suffering, but many women are, this is very common. That's why I jumped on here to talk about this. You need to look at the totality and you can never take supplements that are going to , uh, out nutrition, your poor menu. We've always got to look at the menu. And then one more point I wanted to make is I saw a very sad post earlier today. Um, somewhere where , uh, the gal posting looks really good for her age. No, we look good for all ages, but you know that typical for her age and one gal wrote, I wish I was 10 years younger. You can get 10 years younger. You can look 10 years younger, changing your nutrition. So I want to implore to you . You, you can rebuild your body, rebuild yourself , rebuild your liver, rebuild your skin, cells, your hair, everything, you can rebuild it, but you've got to change what you eat.
