So it's time to lose your over 40 weight without having to starve yourself or eat a salad for every meal. My age who think that menopause is a death sentence in which you no longer look good, you don't get to feel sexy. You don't get to feel pretty and you have lost your youth. Absorb your nutrition inside your gut because of these fake hormones that you're taking. So here's the four pillars of understanding the propaganda you're being lied to about food. It was about the eighties that we started to come up with these fat-free foods that everybody started to get fat. You are eating foods that are not triggering the right hormone reactions, like your insulin, your leptin, your ghrelin , the hormones that say I'm satisfied, or I'm hungry. You're living your lives hopped up on caffeine and stimulants. And everyone's getting energy drinks and drinking coffee, not just for morning, but now they made the fancy coffees with the whipped cream on top. And they're more like a dessert. And so this is taking the place of nutrition and giving you the illusion of having energy while burning out your adrenals. And that is why you're so tired. And then you're missing essential vitamins and minerals that make the hormone processes work. Now, this is my family. I'm about 25 in the photo. That's me with the blue skirt and the white top thinking. I was the cutest thing in the world. As you can see, I come from an obese family. That's my mom's a fat brother. My dad has , has the black shirt and my uncle has the white shirt. My uncle died when he was 73 years old, after diabetes for 30 years. And they cut off his legs, cut off his legs. And then he died like within the year. And it just doesn't have to be that way. This is just all about food. So all my life, I have been around fat people and people figuring out how not to be fat. My father died at age 57 from complications from his liver and his kidneys shutting down from type two diabetes. It doesn't have to be that way. And that's when I started reading books about diabetes. I didn't understand what it was. And when I did understand, and I said to my father, you can't eat this way. He just didn't care. They are very conditioned to think they can still eat what they want. And you're just going to take the insulin and everything's going to be okay. And as you can see, three of the people in this photo no longer exist on the planet. So when I turned 41 and I started to pack on the pounds, I thought, for sure it was hereditary and it was my destiny. And when you're a woman over 40 and you go to a doctor and say, I'm fat, I'm run down . I'm tired. You are going to leave with a prescription for Synthroid Welbutrin phentermine and HRT 100%, unless you speak up and say, no thanks, but why would you, the doctor is looking at you and promising that these pills are going to fix you. These pills cover up symptoms. They never get to the root cause. Now here are the side effects of HRT as listed on the insert. I'm not going to read them all to you. I'm just going to highlight some of them an increased risk of breast cancer and increased risk of endometrial cancer, osteoporosis, blood clots, high blood pressure, and increased risk of heart attack, fluid retention, and bloating, acne, breast tenderness, weight, gain, depression, stroke, lupus are any of those, those less than what you're feeling now. I mean, it's can only make it worse. It can only make it worse. Now here's some facts. Estrogen is produced in your ovaries, your adrenals and your fat cells. So the more fat you have, the more estrogen you produce that puts you in estrogen dominance and at a greater risk of breast cancer. After you've gone through your breast cancer chemotherapy, they give you tomoxifin for two years. And what does it do? It reduces estrogen in your body. You know, you know, obviously we don't want the estrogen because that's what they're doing. Your fat is making you more fat over preparation for conception, which is what all this is leads to water retention. You might not be as fat as you think you are. You might just feel fat. It's just water. Your B vitamins are depleted, equating to fatigue, hair loss, and aging. And that's why you're so tired. If you've been on birth control pills, your ability to absorb nutrition has been compromised. No wonder you're tired. Did they ever tell you that when they handed you the prescription? I bet they did not. So what does progesterone do? Well, it regulates your blood pressure. It converts fat. Hello, it metabolizes sugar. And it regulates estrogen production. And now you're losing it because you're over 40 and your heading into menopause and your body knows that you're running out of eggs. So you do not need that monthly preparation called our cycle where the in case conception happens, it's gonna make a nice little bed for the baby to grow. You're losing progesterone because your body knows you will no longer need it. And look at all the other things that it does that you're not going to have access to either. So of course, if you are losing a hormone that helps convert fat, no wonder you're putting on weight. If you're losing a hormone that helps metabolize sugar, no wonder you're putting on weight, you have to change how and what, and when you eat, which we'll get to later. Now I leveraged two power strategies getting to the root cause of ailments. And I need you gals to believe that you're not medically defective and therefore you're not responsible for the state of your health today, which means you can change it. So that's very exciting. The key takeaway is this is how to find your fat loss blocks without leaving your house. And what I'm going to do for you is more than your doctor will ever do for you. So now that you have a little bit of information, think about what symptoms are you experiencing that tell you that your health is not optimal. Now, the reasons you're struggling to lose weight, that your doctor will never tell you, why do women gain weight? You're not broken. You just need an adjustment. Progesterone levels decrease faster than estrogen levels. This is literally what's happening in your body. Then unopposed, estrogen becomes a thyroid suppressant. Ms. Say that again. You've got lower progesterone. Now you have more estrogen it's unopposed. And it becomes a thyroid suppressant which will alter metabolic function. The thyroid runs every cell of your body. So of course, if it's suppressed, you're not going to feel as well as you could and should feel. And it does that by disrupting how much oxygen gets into the cells of your body, your thyroid respirators, yourselves, unopposed, estrogen becomes a thyroid suppressant. So your metabolic rate begins lowering. And that's how many calories you can eat daily. And then your estrogen and progesterone also affect your insulin. And you become insulin resistant. That means that the way that you're eating and the way your body is protecting you from your food, it releases the insulin to like help your food go where it needs to go. That is, it makes too much, it's not working, right. And that stresses your body. And so now that your processes are stressed, that's like puts your body in the fight or flight mode, which releases cortisol. And the cortisol leads to the belly, fat and boom. This is the physiology of it. All. This is literally what is happening to you in menopause. If you have belly fat, then you most likely have a fatty liver as well. So when the food isn't being processed through the right channels, like the liver and the liver can't process it, you know what it does, it makes a fat cell. It's like a little suitcase. It's storing the toxin in a fat cell because its job is to always protect your heart and your organs. You know, they work 24 seven. They never take a day off. If you have a fatty liver, you also have insulin resistance, which means you're struggling to lose weight. Now, how do we figure this out? You can just take your temperature, take your temperature. First thing in the morning, before you even get out of bed, it's going to be a little bit lower in the morning because your body has been asleep all night and record that for five days in a row. That is going to tell me how your thyroid is working. And then how about taking your pulse doctors take your pulse, right? Does everyone know how to measure your resting pulse rate? You take your two fingers and you kind of slide them down your wrist and you feel finger pulse and you count for 15 seconds and you multiply it by four. A good pulse rate is between 60 and 85 beats per minute. But you know, if you have a high pulse rate, you know that it means something's going on with your heart. But what does it mean if it's low, no one ever talks about that. If it's not critical on its own, but it depends on your other readings, but a low pulse, low temperatures and low blood pressure is a critical sign that you have a pituitary gland issue, which means you are on your way to becoming fat, sick, and tired. And you're probably going to be angry. If your pulse is high, it means you have a serious heart issue and you need to change your diet immediately. So can we all agree that we can monitor our resting pulse rates from the comfort of our own homes? Yes, we can. How about your blood pressure? Doctors always take your blood pressure, right? If it's too high, you're at risk for a heart attack or a stroke. But what if it's too low? You never hear people talking about this. If it's low, your adrenals are burned out. And the symptoms of that are anxiety, IBS, chronic fatigue, and all levels of endocrine imbalance. This is epidemic among women over 40. Now, can we all get to the Walgreens or get to our doctor? And you know, they have those blood pressure machines and CVS too . You can go once a month and monitor your blood pressure. It's just something as a woman of this age, you should keep an eye on. Now, raise your hand. If you've heard the word alkaline. Now , many things have a pH it's their alkalinity, which means how much oxygen is in them. Like our blood, our urine, and our saliva. You can buy pH test strips at any health food store and you can check your saliva and your urine any time you like the healthy range for both is between six and seven. In fact, your thyroid doesn't even work optimally, unless your pH is between 6.3 and 6.8. So depending on your saliva and your urine, some of the issues you may have, if they're not in a good pH is acid reflux, digestive issues, overworked, kidneys , um , liver, detoxification, poor protein, digestion, arthritis, fibromyalgia, and these can all be reversed by changing your menu, which will change your pH. These are symptoms of an acidic body. An acidic body encourages the growth of cancer. Has your doctor ever, ever, ever, ever taken the pH of your saliva and your urine and told you that cancer grows in an acidic body? Aye . I bet not one person can answer yes. To that , that what does a low body temperature mean in reality to how you exist in your day-to-day life? Number one, no energy is being created. Your digestion slows down. You're not absorbing nutrients. You can't hold on to them. You're low on iron and B12. And that's why you're so tired. You can get , um , another disease more easily. It leads to unnecessary. Hysterectomy is due to improper thyroid assessment, some enzymes cause cellular repair that never turned on due to a low body temperature, which then leads to digestion problems and auto-immune disorders. It can give you hip and nerve pain, slow healing the way it affects your brain. It makes you depressed. Constipation. You can get overwhelmed with adrenal fatigue and you can get diagnosed with a personality disorder and then get put on meds. When you don't really need them. You just really , you need to get your thyroid working. So I'm going to go over 10 reasons. You're struggling to lose weight that your doctor will never tell you. This is right out of my book. Why won't he tell you? Because he may know medicine, but does he know metabolic? He does not have the time nor the inclination to tell you because the entire process is set up for a prescription drug diagnosis and for you to follow like a sheep. Now, when my father was 50, he was diagnosed with type two diabetes. And that scared me because I thought it was hereditary. And as I started to read about it, I learned in 16 days, if you change your menu, you can reverse it. No doctor told my father that. So when I told him, he just didn't even believe me. And my father loved Dunkin donuts and Kentucky fried chicken. And why don't the doctors tell them that? Because him being well doesn't serve the doctors type two diabetes is a $245 billion a year industry in the United States alone. Now, how many, any of you are eating egg whites to lose weight that raises your insulin 55%. But if you eat the whole egg, it only raises your insulin. 21%. The longer we can keep our insulin low, the more our body can go to the fat for fuel. And that's how you're going to lose weight. How many of you are eating Turkey bacon, hoping to lose weight and not losing it real butter, real organic eggs, and real bacon spike your insulin. Way less than Turkey, bacon and egg whites. And it gives your hormones and your brain, the optimal amount of cholesterol they need to function. So how fun is that? Are you ready to have some real eggs, real butter? Like your grandma used to have on the table and some real bacon, instead of some, you know, substitute breakfast that you're hoping is going to help you lose weight. The liver is key and processing hormones to get rid of them. But if it's not working optimally, it's backing up your systems. And it's one of the reasons that you're struggling to lose weight. Those hormones are taking several trips around your body and guess what happens? Hello, hotSpeaker 4:
Now your thyroid and your adrenals are main players. And what are the thyroid and adrenals do together? They maintain your body temperature. They regulate fat metabolism. They promote the intestinal absorption of carbs. They lower cholesterol in the blood. It increases urinary excretion of uric acid, which is a waste product. It helps the liver convert carotene to vitamin a increases, blood and lymph circulation reduces reflex reaction time. And it's essential for normal men sees how many women are having crazy period issues and fibroids and getting hysterectomies is when the real problem is your thyroid and your adrenals are not working together. They regulate your cycle. No doctor is ever looking at this. They're going to put you in surgery and give you a $30,000 operation. And did they solve a problem? You no longer have a , your fibroids, but now you don't have your lady parts. And I think you should want to keep your lady parts for as long as it's just not normal to have operations. It also attracts potassium to yourselves which prevents excess sodium accumulation, which causes bloating. And that keeps your blood pressure below dangerous levels. So do you see how it's all related? Number two, you have a sluggish liver, a sluggish liver makes a reduced capacity to metabolize the hormones, as I said earlier. So they take several spins around your body. Wreaking havoc on you. The liver has two phases of processing and detoxification, hormonal imbalance, and then it removes environmental mimics. And if yours isn't working optimally, you're going to be backed up with both of those. And it's going to cause you menopause misery. Number three, your gallbladder isn't working. Optimally fat metabolism slows your gallbladder. And a lack of progesterone makes it impossible to metabolize fat. Don't let them take yours out. You need it. A lot of people get their gallbladders removed because they have gallstones. Gallstones are a byproduct of eating too much, being obese and eating too much cholesterol. They are not accidental. You're not medically defective. You have eaten your way there. Number four, you're taking synthetic hormones. If you're on birth control or HRT, it will most likely add weight to most every woman. And as I said earlier, it changes how you absorb your nutrition. And very specifically your B vitamins. Don't wonder why you're so tired. You're drained of your essential B vitamins.Speaker 4:
Five, you have blood sugar and insulin resistance. I've already gone over this. If you have these problems, you're going to have a weight problem. You simply have too much sugar and you never give your insulin production a break. We are not designed to constantly graze. Number six is sleep. Your circadian rhythms are not functioning. They're disrupting your melatonin production and we'll give you weight problems and anxiety and depression. You can easily stay off meds by getting your hormones working better. And number seven, medical interventions, such as hysterectomy will give you weight troubles. Even dogs put on weight after being spade . You know, it's just a very simple, common sense fact that if you're pulling out your ovaries and just taking out these things, maybe not so much your uterus, but why do you want an operation? You don't, you don't need this. You should always look to fix things naturally by looking for the root cause. Number eight, digestive capacity and micro flora balance relay . What is that? Jianna it means you have gut dysbiosis. That means the bacteria in your gut is not the good kind. It's more of the bad kind. And it's the hormone messaging center. So it isn't communicating well with your brain, which leads to anxiety and depression. There is a nerve called the vagus nerve and it connects from your gut to your brain. That's why, you know, people say, go with your gut. It's connected to your brain. That's exactly what they're referring to. If you met me in a coffee shop and you told me you have anxiety and depression, I would immediately ask you, Hey, what do you eat? And do you ever take the pH of your urine and saliva to see how your digestion and gut health is working? And I would want you to change yourSpeaker 5:

And then here's something in your gut health, where is the weight hiding and hindering in your gut health ? If you feel anxiety, depression, panic attacks, this is where you go looking first for the root cause. Are you consuming foods that contain tryptophan, which creates serotonin in your gut? That's what makes you feel good? Number nine is candida. So many women have it and they don't even know it. You know, it's a yeast infection. You might see it in your vagina now. And then we've probably all had one. And then doctors give you antibiotics. Those very heavy antibiotics, and you know what they do. They kill your good gut bacteria. They're very harmful to upsetting your gut health. And then, you know, that's what I'm very sure led to my weight gain was that I was on low dose antibiotics for nine years for acne, which I now know was just having hormone imbalance. But you can have the candida living in your intestines and your gut, and you can have up to 10 pounds of it. And it's going to wreak havoc on your ability to lose weight. How does one get candida overgrowth, antibiotics, eating a diet high in sugar and refined carbs, a high alcohol intake, a weakened immune system taking oral contraceptives, including HRT, having diabetes and high stress levels. And then number 10, eating salads and protein shakes. Ladies, you're simply starving. You're not eating enough calories or foods with amino acids. There's no amino acids and salads and protein shakes are just fake food. You need amino acids to get your processes working, including tryptofan to create the melatonin so you can sleep. It's all related. It's like a symphony orchestra. When one is out of tune, the rest is out of tune. So on your own, what are the top three reasons you're struggling to lose weight. Now that you've heard this, you know, I want you to start thinking, what do you think are the reasons that you're struggling to lose weight? Now you might be in the right place, listening to this presentation. If you're too tired to work out, if you are desperate to navigate this new phase in your life, because what you've been doing just isn't working and you're putting on weight like crazy. Let's look at the fat burning hormones. This is everything that's affected. It's not just your progesterone and your estrogen. These are the fat burning hormones ghrelin, which says you're hungry. Your leptin, which says you're full your adiponectin, which the leaner you get, the better you get at burning carbs. So until you get lean or you're going to have to give up those carbs, your insulin, which maintains an optimal blood sugar level, your CCK, digests , fat and proteins epinephrin drives fat burning. And it's released for energy in the body. Epinephrin can also aid in appetite suppression, and then HGH the growth hormone, which we're all losing as we get older. Now, why do you have high cortisol and hot flashes from a lack of protein in your diet, from a magnesium deficiency, from a compromised leaky gut, you have excess visceral, fat, too much caffeine, lack of sleep. And you have a bum thyroid. My mother had a hysterectomy at age 42. And as most women say, she's like this, well, they had me on HRT for 15 years. And I'm like, what do you mean had you as if she had no control over her own decisions? That's the brainwashing. The doctors just say, Hey, take this. And she would go back every 90 days and they'd give her a new prescription. Why not? They're making tons of money. And then the same thing happened to her with Lexapro and antidepressant, which she got after my father died. I understand my parents were together for 44 years. It could be very upsetting when my father died, I get it. You could totally have a time in your life that you need an antidepressant boost, but she allowed a doctor to just keep prescribing it for 15 years. No wonder she's been struggling to lose 40 pounds for the last 15 years. And then she went off it cold Turkey. Once I told her about it, which I don't recommend, but she did it. And she felt no different, same thing with the HRT. She just decided one day to stop taking it. And she didn't feel any different. So are these drugs really helping you only, you can answer that question. Now let's have a look at some of the more specific symptoms of when you are low in selenium and see how they stack up against menopause symptoms, hair loss, and skin discoloration. I see ladies all the time complaining about hair loss, low immunity. Yes. They're sick all the time. They're rundown constant tiredness and fatigue, brain fog and difficulty communicating reproductive problems. And the big enchilada is hypothyroidism, which people take to mean they are medically defective. They have a disease. I have hypo thyroid. No, you are hypo thyroid. You can change that. You can reverse it. These are the top six symptoms. When you lack in selenium and what a selenium do, selenium helps your thyroid work optimally, but not by itself. It's got a pal and the pal to selenium is B12. As I just told you, you're lacking in a lot of the B-vitamins depending on the lifestyle you have and symptoms. When you're lacking in B12 pale or jaundice , skin weakness and fatigue, the sensation of pins and needles like in your extremities, changes to mobility. Does it just feel harder to get around? Like when you get older, so many people are accepting. I am older. I just can't move as well. You might just need B12 glossitis and mouth ulcers. I don't really ever see that, but it happens breathlessness and dizziness. Like you go up a flight of stairs and you're out of breath. You're thinking in your brain, I'm not in good shape. You might just need B12 and disturbed vision and changes in mood. Again, we're going back to the gut health. Everything works in conjunction together. Now the selenium and the B12 are just two of the trio that makes your thyroid work optimally. And the third one is iodine. Here's 10 symptoms. If you're deficient in iodine, swelling in the neck, that means your thyroid is swollen because it's overworking. It's working so hard to produce the T3 and the T4 and the TSH. And you're going to end up with goiter because it's working too hard. You're not feeding it. The proper nutrients, unexpected weight gain. We all know that fatigue and weakness, hair loss, dry, flaky skin. Your thyroid controls that feeling colder than usual. All women are cold . More cold than men are changes in your heart rate, trouble learning and remembering problems during pregnancy and heavy or irregular periods. I said earlier, the thyroid also regulates your cycles. So while people are getting fibroids and hysterectomy , you might just be lacking in selenium, B12, and iodine. Let's talk about hot flashes and how to lessen them. You need good gut health. When you have good gut health, it creates a bacteria called equal. You can get this by drinking, just a cup of silk soy milk before bed. Now you need that good gut house. So we've got to clean that problem up first. And when you have good gut health and you drink the silk soy, you may produce the equal and lessen or dissipate your hot flashes . There's many things that have to do with the hot flashes. Like I said earlier, when your , when your liver isn't working optimally, and it can't metabolize your, the , the hormones that your body is excreting, that sometimes take two and three cycles in your blood. And that's the reason you have hot flashes too . How do we know about this equal from studying Asian women? They don't even have a word for hot flashes. They're so mild in their culture, of course, because they're having the soy. So let's look at my proprietary three-step process on how to repair women over 40 and women in perimenopause and even women.
