I don't know anyone else who is a "menopause expert", trying to help women conquer this all naturally without giving up happiness and fun in their lives.
At 55 years old, I am known as a disruptor and thought-leader to 1000's of gorgeous women across the globe.
I’m also the author of five books and three "booklets" that fully explain menopause misery and what's causing It, that doctors will NEVER tell you.
Which is why I created "The Menopause Weight Loss Library".
I'm a certified holistic detoxing health specialist, and a metabolic genius.
What is now a world class consulting empire, with clients in South Africa, Jordan, Canada, & the UK, began as a Facebook group that I created in early 2014 to inspire and empower other women to embrace a med free menopause.
How did I even end up in this unusual consulting career? I got fat, sick, and tired!
Hello ladies. I am fresh off a trip to Nashville this past weekend, where I was in a room full of 225 women. And I'm probably the only one that colors her hair. These ladies had let the gray go out and I am gonna be honest with you . It is hideous. I don't understand. I just really don't understand walking around with that hideous Erin . It's not just the color. It's just like not having healthy looking hair, not having pretty hair, not having a hair cut or a hair style . So needless to say, I did not fit in that room at all. And I got the hell out of Dodge. I don't know . I just live like a much more glamorous city and , um , I don't know . It's good to be home. I nobody dressed up for this conference and I just thought it was kind of weird that you would show up somewhere where we're all gathered to learn and make new friends and people didn't really seem to give it their best effort or if they did, it was not a good effort. Um, so just sort of reminded me of , um, you know, what's the , what are the kind of ladies that I'm looking for and what kind of ladies are looking for me? Because that was the room VO of ladies that were not looking for me. Although, when I told a few of them what I did, they found it very interesting. Anyway, tonight, I wanna talk about the scare of osteoporosis and is it scary? It absolutely is. I know my own mother, oh , couple years I talked to her and she had, she does a bone scan every year and they said she, whatever the percentage was very minuscule, but of course, what do they do here? Take this prescription, you know? So let's talk about what that does. And if you believe what the commercials say on TV, you're taking calcium, you've gotta take your calcium. It's the solution to osteoporosis. Just take it and you'll be fine. Well, how many of you have done that and had a bone skin and you're not fine. And that's kind of scary because we do not want to be feeble old women. Well, at least I don't, but I think there's Alan of women that just accept aging. And if you're new to me, I like to say my goal is to take you from a mature woman to a senior woman, without you becoming an old woman like, oh, Gianna , we're all gonna get old. Yes we are. But we all don't have to age. And that's what I teach in my course. And that's what I do in my mentorship. So I am doing a podcast tonight on today's Tuesday tips. Every Tuesday, you get a text message with a health tip, and this is what today's tip is about. So I thought I'd share it with you. And so you might be interested in what goes on in the menopause membership and the sexy and fabulous academy. And what do you learn in master menopause.com ? So these drugs don't work. <laugh> the calcium doesn'tSpeaker 2:
Work. And then you , well , first you'll go to the doctor and they'll probably tell you to take calcium and then you'll come back and they'll do your bone scan again. And because I always say, doctors are throwing at the wall and seeing what sticks and you're probably gonna come back and they'll do a bone scan again, and the calcium will not work. And the calcium doesn't work. I'll tell you why in a few more minutes, let me get to this beginning part here. If the calcium doesn't work, they're going to give you a BI phosphate drug. Now this drug will make your bones look better on a density scam. But the reality is it makes them very fragile. And you're probably thinking, well , how does that work out? In some cases, the drugs even cause a condition called OSIS in which bone cells die and the jaw bone disintegrates. And you probably see that in like third world countries, when much older people sort of have deformed faces, but it can happen here in the us . In addition to that other minor side effects from these drugs are joint in muscle pain, nausea, heartburn, and ulcers. Now, did they tell you that when they give you the prescriptions? Probably not, which means they're not giving you full disclosure and that's illegal because you'd probably say no. And a good review of the efficacy of these drugs concludes that there just are no proven clinical benefits to post menopausal women . So obviously I do not recommend these things. And if you are new to my podcast or you are a repeat listener to my podcast, and you're understanding me by now, I'm always going to the root cause . And while increasing calcium intake may be slightly beneficial. If one has a calcium deficient diet, it's important to understand that demineralized bone cuz that's what you have when you have osteoporosis. It's rubbery like say you buy when you buy salary , it's crispy and firm in the fridge. But if you don't get to it in a , you know, week or so, week to 10 days, it's still intact, but it's rubbery and it's very unappealing to eat. So that's the texture that happens to the bones. Now, if you're eating minerals, they can only stick where they're supposed to stick. If a protein matrix is present, I'm gonna repeat that. Minerals only stick if a protein matrix is present and it's like this, like I'm sure somewhere in the world, you have seen men pouring concrete, oh , women pour concrete too. But you know, men pouring concrete. They, they have like wood outlining where the concrete is supposed to go. If you've ever seen a new sidewalk being poured. So the matrix is the boundaries that the concrete is supposed to stop at. That's the same thing as having a protein matrix. So your minerals are only going to stick if the matrix is there. And in my membership, I posted a picture of what healthy bone collagen looks like and what osteoporosis bone collagen looks like. And maybe if you're listening, you might wanna Google that and you'll see the osteoporosis bone has much larger horrors in it. And so you can obviously see why the bone structure is very like spindly in between and that's his that's, what's making it weak. And in the last year or two, there's been this, this ad going around and ladies, you know, they do their social media for their network marketing companies, like who wants to fix this problem and DM me, you know, with their, with their secretive posts and tricks. And, and so women will be like, oh, you know, look at this before. And after this collagen and there's so many collagen products on the market and they are. I'll tell you why. They're. We don't wanna hear this. When I say these things, I have a collagen video up and I always get nasty comments. Oh , I dunno what you're talking about. This one particular, I can't think of the name of the company, but I know you've all seen it. And so what do I do? I go look at what's in it. What are the ingredients? And the ingredients are pig and chicken or cow collagen. And then like 10 different kinds of fruit juice is 90%. So of course it tastes good. And you're supposed to take like one table spoon a day as if that's going to make a difference in your life in any way. It is a joke and cow and pig collagen just because you consume it doesn't mean it's going to go to work like your own collagen would. So if you're spending money on collagen, because this is the problem you wanna fix, you might as well spend the money on something that's actually going to fix it. Which of course I'll talk to you about at the end of this podcast. Now roughly 50% of bone weight is collagen, which is a protein and osteoporosis occurs when there is a loss of collagen. So by rebuilding it, you can rebuild bones. Collagen is made of amino acids and other essential components so that the mineral content of the bone, which is mainly calcium and phosphorus has something to attach itself too . And there are other critical elements needed to build bone such as vitamin D, which you can only get from the sun. It's the best way to get it. Vitamin K and the hormones, thyroid estrogen, progesterone, D H E a and testosterone. So what I always want the audience to understand is this, there is a larger picture at play. I always like to equate how your metabolics work, how you get optimum health as a woman over 40 and especially over 50, cuz their very different timeframes is to look at the picture of the entirety of your health. It's like a symphony orchestra. And when one is out of whack , they're all out of whack . When one is out of tune , they're all out of tune. In addition, you need vitamin B6 and magnesium for proper collagen formation. You're not going to get that in those little bottles of supplements. You've got to go deeper to whatSpeaker 3:
Creates collagen and that would be essential aminos. Now there's another important factor for building bones and that's targeted exercise that the bones must undergo where you stress the bones to stay strong. And this is how I stumbled upon learning about how to reverse osteoporosis. I came across the biomedical engineer who actually reversed his own mother's osteoporosis from that of a 70 year old woman to a 35 year old woman. I was sold on his information and started just feverishly, researching everything he talks about. And you can prove these things with the bone scans. So the woman is still a 70 year old woman, but in 18 months , time sharing what I share with you in the menopause membership, you can reverse your bone health as well. And the best exercises to do, which are so easy are deadlifts and squats. And they're the largest muscle group. And they're super, super easy cuz you know, they just, you just go knock 'em out. You can do jump squats. You can do dead lifts . You can do 'em with those. Um, I've got them , uh , those bands, I've got a little setup on my patio that I'll just go out there and knock out an excellent workout in less than 15 minutes. And if you've never done these in your whole life, you know, find somebody who knows how to do 'em. You can go on my website and see the , uh , apparatus that I recommend that you can keep in your house and you just do this two or three times a week and it cannot hurt anyone to improve your glutes because who needs a saggy butt as they get older. Now, one of my mentors is this amazing, amazing doctor. And I love to read his case studies because you can just learn so much and you don't have to be a doctor to comprehend this or to suggest it to ladies, such as yourself who are listening. So this is what he says. We often find low serum, amino acid levels in women with osteoporosis. When we give these women extra doses of amino acids and treat other factors within their systems that may not be in good shape, their bones re mineralized like it's entirely possible. And this is why you don't have to age like your neighbors, aging, you are listening to the information and you can start to get more information and you can assimilate it and you can put it into play and see what happens in six months, you could have an entirely different body and an entirely different health. And this is why I'm always saying it's not one thing. The totality of your metabolic health is what will net you, the results you seek. So this particular case study is a woman, Betty who's 68 years old. Betty came into this doctor's clinic. After her regular doctor checked her bones density and confirmed that she was in the osteoporosis range. And you know, being 55, 68 is only 13 years away from me. And you know, I'm a little bit concerned about that. I don't think that's oldSpeaker 4:
Anymore. Now that I am , uh , middle aged. So she had read reports that medications potential side effects, you know, what was going on. And she was seeking another opinion because she heard that they're bad in God bless Betty for doing a little research because most women like my own mother, just take whatever the doctors tell them and blindly trust them and wonder why a couple months down the road, you're not feeling better. Your tests have not changed and you're probably feeling worse. So after they tested Betty with laboratory tests and let me tell you ladies, there are a lot of laboratory tests you don't have to do with a doctor. The laboratories give you the results. So you don't need a doctor to interpret them. And they're in the menopause membership. They're very low priced and you can buy them online and go to your local lab. They'll tell you where to go and you give blood or do whatever. Some of them are saliva and you can get those results and you can be in charge of your own health. So after they round these tests for Betty, here were the usual deficiencies that they see in the situation, low red blood cell, magnesium and selenium, very low vitamin D and iodine, low pancreatic chymotrypsin for protein digestion, low serum, essential amino acids, low progesterone and testosterone, bacterial overgrowth in her small intestine and a roundworm parasite and nearly absent stomach acid sounds pretty scary, right? Let me go into a couple of these things. Low red blood cell, magnesium and selenium, magnesium runs like 2000 functions of your body. And of course, if you don't have it, it's like trying to run your car without oil, the magnesium, and especially cow mag . In this situation, the magnesium is an important part of making your body run. Optimally you'll run. You're not dead yet. Just like Betty's not dead, but she's not running optimally. Then when you're deficient in selenium, selenium is one of the very pertinent minerals that runs your thyroid. You all know your thyroid runs everything. It's the reason you are fat, sick and tired is because you don't have a thyroid. That's running optimally very low vitamin D in the pandemic. We just came out of, you know, I call it the fake pandemic. You can have your own opinion, but they found that the lacking in vitamin D was a cause that some people got it over others. And it was found that people with melon in skin, darker complected people ha they don't absorb vitamin D the same way Caucasian people do. So they were more susceptible to the C . Now this Betty, she was also lacking iodine. Iodine is one of the things. Iodine is one of the minerals that makes your thyroid work. Optimally, Betty . He also have low pancreatic chymotrypsinSpeaker 5:
For protein digestion. Why is that scary? The chymotrypsin for protein digestion means that as Betty was taking in her food, it was not getting properly digested, which means it's not going through all the phases of digestion. And when the particles of food are not properly digested, that's when they can escape through a permeated gut health. And they're going into the blood and causing joint pain, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia , um, chronic fatigue and autoimmune disorders. So these things are not happening to you. It's the status of your health and not optimal nutrition that's causing them. Then she , of course, she had low progesterone and testosterone. Your body will make these, but not unless your adrenals are fed because they're taxed nutritionally. By the time you're over 40, I guarantee it. Then she had bacterial overgrowth. This was probably Canada and yeast in her small intestine. It's just something women are, are more susceptible to. You know, we get the yeast infections in our lady parts and we have good yeast and we have bad yeast. And she had a round worm parasite. And you might be getting really freaked out about this. But listen to me, I've got everything available in the menopause membership to take care of every one of these symptoms. And then the last symptom that Betty had was nearly absent stomach acid. That's really just a consequence of getting older, but you can take digestive enzymes when you have a protein meal and it is gonna go to work. And even if you don't have any digestive issues, not yet, you don't, there's no one that could be harmed by having this. And it's just gonna make your protein go to work much more efficiently in your body and you are going to be in optimal health. So are you seeing the big picture? Because ladies way younger than Betty have these same problems. I see them every week as ladies enter my membership and these problems are attributed to the menopause when they're really the menu. Okay. So do you see why these supplements matter and that you should take them every day to avoid becoming an old woman? So Betty started a program to address her nutritional and hormone deficiencies and to improve her gut, her digestion and her protein absorption. And she began doing those squats and lunges and away training program. Three times per week. I'm telling you , you can do it for 15 minutes. And she rechecked her bone density in six months and it showed a vast improvement. And after a year and a half, she was back in the normal range for her age. But if you're like me, I wanna be way below my age. So this case study just shows that these are problems that are reversible and treatment can be administered by a knowledgeable nutritional practitioner, such as myself. Now, have you ever been in a doctor's office and heard anything like this? No, because then you wouldn't be here because all the doctors do is prescribe meds. Meds is not what your body's lacking and meds are never getting to the root cause if you fix the root cause the body will take over inherently. And it knows what to do. This is health restoration at its best. This is optimal health. This is what I've studied for the last 14 years and taught to other women for the last decade. And this year I took everything I know, and I put it into an incredible library of information. And the way to get started in my library is to just go get the first book. It's a book and it's a mini course and it's only $7 and you can get this by going to master menopause.com. Now, before you exit out of this podcast, I would love for you to go click on, you know, the last 5, 6, 7 podcasts. Hopefully while you're taking a walk or riding a bike or something, I would love for you to get to know me before you go to master menopause.com and get this book. This first book and mini course is going to open your eyes to the truth about why you're struggling, why your health is not optimal, why you are fat, sick, and tired, for reasons a doctor is never going to tell you. So thank you so much for listening to this podcast about osteoporosis. There is hope because you have just been introduced to the true root cause.
